2010-2011 Was an eventful year for Ishan. During the summer he visited his extended family in India and had a blast with all his uncles, cousins, aunts and grandparents. Ishan also started going to a private school for 4 hours a week, in addition to his regular public school program.
Ishan has made significant gains this year in his communication and cognitive skills. He is vocalizing and signing more. Ishan was thrilled to meet his idol, Monica Pearson, a local TV anchor.
Medically it has been a difficult year. Ishan was recently diagnosed with Crohn's and continues to deal with its life altering symptoms. But through all of this Ishan continues to be a very happy, curious, lovable little boy.
